Medium format is a beautiful way of achieving that gorgeous film quality while maintaining the detail you get from digital photographs. I use a Mamiya RZ67 with a waistlevel viewfinder, which allows a kind of intimacy between myself and the subject as there's no camera in front of my face. I have always shot using Kodak Porta 120 film as I love the warmth this film achieves.
